I built Dictation Daddy because I had to. A repetitive strain injury made typing painful and slow, and I needed a better way to get my thoughts down. I tried everything out there, but nothing felt right. The tools were clunky, the accuracy was poor, and none of them actually cleaned up the mess that comes with natural speech.
So I built the tool I wished existed.
With over a decade of software engineering experience building products at scale, I set out to create a dictation tool that actually understands context — not just words.
